Vanada “Joan” Wiseman Stambaugh died suddenly at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio, after complications from a recent surgery. Even though she has several health issues, the suddenness of her death has had a profound effect on those close to her. For Rachel and Riann, Vanada was a loving mother, she also was a beloved friend to many.
Her daughters are now making arrangements; yet, the expenses for final expenses immediately call for help. With the family much appreciative of any donations, a GoFundMe account has been set up to help with financing her cremation and ultimate celebration of life.
Along with her two beloved cats, Ted and Romeo, once their time has also passed, Joan’s desires included cremation and, in time, being laid to rest near her husband. The unanticipated character of this circumstance means that dates for the memorial ceremony and celebration have not yet been established; updates will be provided as soon as final preparations are developed.
During this trying time, much valued are expressions of support—in good words as well as monetary gifts. Those wanting to offer their sympathies or help the family can either personally or via the set fundraising. Her loved ones navigating this difficult period and working to honour the memory of a brilliant woman welcome ongoing prayers and thoughts.
