Death; John Roach Alpharetta, GA, retired firefighter has died

John Roach of Alpharetta, Georgia, has sadly passed away. In recent post on Facebook and Twitter his death was mentioned with several comments over flooding the comment section regarding the his service and resilient dedication to theĀ  community he served at large. His death has left so many hearts scarred and broken. His funeral and obituary will be announced by his family at later date. Please keep his family in your loving thoughts and prayers as they go through this rough patch in their lives.

In a post made on Facebook, the following paraphrased statements was extracted; “We mourn the passing of Fire Captain John Roach, who recently retired, with deep grief today. With all of our shared jokes and memories, Captain Roach will always be remembered as a man of few words who stood tall and exercised silent leadership.

Captain Roach spent 25 years working for the City of Alpharetta until retiring in August of 2023. Throughout his life, he had a significant influence on numerous strangers as well as his family and friends. The vast shadow that Captain Roach’s ghost leaves behind will always be with us.

We kindly request that you keep Captain Roach’s wife, kids, relatives, and friends in your prayers and thoughts during this trying time of grief. Together, let’s pay tribute to his memory.”
