Camden County officials are looking at a tragic hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 41-year-old woman. Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said that the event happened on Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday, at about 3:21 p.m., Camden County police got reports of a car striking a pedestrian at the crossroads of 7th and Tulip Streets. Arriving fast at the site, emergency services took the injured woman to Cooper University Hospital. She tragically was declared dead at 4:06 p.m. The victim a Camden resident has been identified as Carla Mahan.
