The accident occurred on Atmosphere Road, near Poarch Road, approximately six miles north of Atmore in Escambia County. ALEA officials confirmed that Odell was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which ultimately led to his death. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
