Damian McManus announces the passing of Brendan McManus, a beloved father, husband, and grandfather. Brendan passed away early this morning at Brentwood Nursing Home after a long and courageous battle with dementia and cancer. His family was by his side during his final days, offering love and comfort as he peacefully left this world.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the exceptional staff at Brentwood Manor, who provided Brendan with compassionate care throughout his time there, right up until his passing. Their support has been invaluable.

To honor Brendan’s remarkable life, the family invites extended relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbors to join them in remembrance and celebration. His wake will take place at the family home in Cavan Hill, Drumleene, Ballindrait, Lifford, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Strabane on Sunday, September 29, at 12:00 p.m., followed by Brendan’s burial.
The McManus family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to everyone for the love and support during this difficult time. They will forever cherish the many years of love, care, and guidance Brendan provided. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
