Kenneth Dene Gray, who was 73 years old at the time of his passing, died away without any discomfort on September 28, 2024. He spent his career working for Boeing, where he took great satisfaction in his profession until his 55-year-old retirement. A celebration of life will be held at Madison Avenue Park Venue in Derby, Kansas with details to be announced at a later date.
Kenney’s parents, Kenneth and Alverta Gray; his devoted wife, Marsha Gray; and his sisters, Jackie Brown and Barbara Barrick before him in death. Along with her husband Colin Cathey, he is survived by his beloved children, son Kenney J. Gray and daughter Kylie Cathey. His sister Cindy Lowe, brother-in-law Mark McMullen, and sisters-in-law Susie Kelly and Monica Finegan all remember him.
His beloved grandchildren Chase, Kennady, Carleigh, Xavier, Maddison, Dakota, Tavies, Keira, and Ember each carried a particular place in his heart.
A great sense of affection for his family defined Kenney’s life. From husband and father to grandfather and friend, he embraced every job with kindness, knowledge, and unflinching dedication. Every person who knew him was permanently changed by his sweet nature and relentless support.
