Death; Bobby Hinson Raleigh, NC, DPAC Freelance Trumpet Player died after battling cancer

Bobby Hinson of Raleigh, North Carolina, has sadly died. In a social media post it was said that he died after battling cancer on September 30. Bobby was very talented, witty, friendly, and kind-hearted. Over the years, he performed together with his crew at numerous events, and they will always be appreciative of the wonderful experiences they had. He could cover any genre, including Motown, classic rock, jazz standards, Broadway musicals, funk, and big band, and he was a lot of joy to play with. Bobby spent many years as a band director in Raleigh, igniting a passion for music in hundreds of children. There is no doubt that his influence will continue to inspire others. His funeral arrangements and obituary will be announced by his family at later date.
