On September 28, 2024 Marian Brennan, formerly of Ballykillane House, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow, and Ballingate, Carnew, Co. Wicklow, passed quietly. Following a short illness, the committed team at Richmond ICU, Beaumont Hospital, gave compassionate treatment surrounded by her loving family.

Marian leaves behind her a legacy of love and compassion, fondly remembered as a loving partner and friend, a caring and committed presence in the life of her children and grandkids. Her memory will be always respected by anyone who had the honour of knowing her; she survived close-knit family comprising her husband, beloved daughters, and eight treasured grandchildren. Also grieving her death are siblings, extended relatives, in-laws, and many friends.

At Doyle’s Funeral Home, Killaveney, Tinahely, on Tuesday afternoon from 2 p.m., family and friends are invited to pay their respects with prayers ending at 8 p.m. The funeral will thereafter take place in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Carnew, for a requiem mass on Wednesday at 2 p.m., then interment at Tomacork Cemetery.
