The United Christian Witness group regretsfully reports the death of one of their dear members, Mr. Alan Oliver. During this period of grief, heartfelt sympathy is sent to his family and close friends. Alan had been heroically fighting a protracted illness, and although he showed signs of recovery, he quietly died in the early hours of Sep. 26 2024 and rested in the Lord Jesus Christ. Although many people are depressed and heartbroken about his leaving, there is solace in knowing that he now feels lifetime happiness and tranquilly.
A Life-long Dedication to The Work Of God
Alan was a beloved member noted for his pure faith and sincere love of humanity. His commitment to outreach was clear even in his last months; just a few months ago, he joined the team for an outreach event in Belfast City Centre, travelling from his hospital bed in a wheelchair to share his faith and help others.
A Man of Faith and Religion
His life and dedication are evidence of the potency of religion and unselfish devotion. Though Alan will be sorely missed, his example will inspire all who knew him always. The community asks that the Lord raise more people with the same fervent zeal and dedication Alan showed.

“It’s with great sadness that we would like to announce the death of one of our members, Mr. Alan Oliver. We would like to extend our sympathy to the immediate family at this time.
Alan had been fighting an illness for some time now that we hoped was heading the right direction but sadly Alan went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ this morning. It’s sorrow & sadness for us but everlasting joy & peace for him.
We will dearly miss Alan & he was a faithful member with a real love for the lost & people. This is evident that only a few months ago, Alan left his hospital bed to join us on an outreach in Belfast City Centre, in his wheelchair.
We pray that the Lord Jesus will send more people who have dedication like Alan.
There is hope in Jesus & we will meet our brother again.”
