The identity of a man who passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a physical confrontation that took place on Friday, September 27, in Shreveport, Louisiana, has been confirmed by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office.
Authorities said that 43-year-old Billy Sanders was confronting someone at his 3900 block of Merwin Street. He fell after getting hit in the head during the fight.
Sanders then was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he passed suddenly on Sunday, September 29, at 1:31 p.m. from his injuries.
The Shreveport Police Department is looking actively at the incident’s circumstances.
