Echo Medbery (Suy) of Columbus died on October 2, 2024, at thirty-six. Born on December 15, 1987, Echo lived in Broken Bow, Nebraska, first then moved to Columbus. Showcasing her great sensitivity for others, she committed her career to helping persons with developmental difficulties. Echo adored times spent with her children, appreciated picturesque automobile drives, enjoyed get-togethers around fire pits and loved horror films.
She also enjoy cooking and appreciating the beauty of Halloween celebrations and Christmas lights. McKown Funeral Home will host Wednesday, October 9, at 10:30 a.m. funeral services. Tuesday, October 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., is visitation; then, at McKown Funeral Home, a Vigil ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Visiting will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the service begins. Interment is scheduled at All Saints Cemetery.
The family advises memorial gifts instead of flowers and plants. The family thanks all those who knew Echo for helping them to remember her vivid spirit during this trying period.
