A 30-year-old male who was killed on Wednesday night in the Leonidas area of New Orleans has been identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office. Authorities verified Edwin Hilton, the victim, was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Law enforcement claims that after a bystander in the 1900 block of Leonidas Street called down officials, they arrived to the site at about 9:53 p.m. Arriving, emergency responders declared the victim dead.
