Mountague Township, New Jersey Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police, said that a motorcyclist from Hudson County, New Jersey, who was 39 years old, unfortunately lost his life on Sunday morning as a result of an accident with a guardrail in Sussex County.

Arriving at the incident location on Route 23 northbound, close to milepost 50 in Montague Township, troopers showed up at 10:26 a.m.

Frank Jimeno of West New York was riding a KTM motorbike when preliminary investigations show that it drifted off the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail at milepost 50. Jimeno was declared dead at the spot after suffering fatal injuries from the collision.

Authorities are looking at the events surrounding the collision still. Officials are requesting anyone with pertinent information to come forward to help with the investigation; further specifics about the incident will be published when they become available.
