A 24-year-old woman in Sandy Springs, Georgia, died in a sad hit-and-run event as officials were still looking for help in determining the implicated driver. The Gwinnett County Police Department is aggressively compiling information about the early morning events on September 27 about 4 a.m.
Sandy Springs homeowner Mecha Woodard reportedly pulled over her car and started strolling in the gore zone between State Route 316 and the Boggs Road entry ramp when a car collided with her. She sadly passed from her injuries. Based on trash discovered at the site, which included shards from the front passenger-side bumper and headlamp, authorities have limited the suspected car to a 2019-2020 Lexus RX350 or RX450.
