Minerva “Minnie Mo” Loredo passed away this morning Thursday, 26, September, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and music. Prayers are requested for her family, friends, and bandmates during this difficult time. Known for her vibrant spirit, Minnie touched the lives of many as a security guard at Vanguard Academy within Mission ISD and as a talented drummer for various bands, including her role with El Magico Show Tejano Radio.
What Happened To Minerva Loredo?
Her health battle began with a stroke, after which doctors discovered cancer in her stomach, uterus, liver, and bones. The cancer also spread to her brain, leading her family to make the heart-wrenching decision to stop further treatments and surgeries. Despite this, Minnie’s memory remains strong, reminding us, “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved.”
Diana De Hoyos has organized a fundraiser GoFundMe on behalf of Miguel Loredo to support the family with medical expenses and funeral arrangements. Minnie’s courageous journey has inspired many, and now the community is called upon to offer their support. Please consider praying, donating, or sharing to help the Loredo family navigate the road ahead.
