Monique Keizer, 60, Died Surrounded In Love By Family In Yarmouth Regional Hospital

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Monique Keizer of Meteghan on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the age of 60. A beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Monique passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Jeannine (Comeau) Belliveau and the late Pierre Belliveau.

Monique was the love of her husband Dawson’s life. Together since she was 16, they filled their time with travel, road trips, motorcycle cruises, and enjoying NASCAR races, Canadiens hockey, and Blue Jays baseball. Dawson will deeply miss his “girl.”

A steadfast friend, Monique was known for her infectious smile and laughter. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she provided support during difficult times and enjoyed spontaneous road trips to Halifax for retail therapy. She is survived by her husband, Dawson; her mother, Jeannine; sister Pierrette (Adrian); brother Ghislain (Judy); sisters-in-law Susanne (Raymond), Andrea (Preston), and Rebecca (Danny); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Monique was predeceased by her father, Pierre; her father-in-law, Gordon; her mother-in-law, Annette; and nephews André and Joel.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Stella Maris Cemetery, Meteghan Centre, on Saturday, September 28, at 11 AM.
