As a result of a collision involving many vehicles and a lorry that occurred on the 215 Freeway near San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol reported that three women were killed in the accident. On Saturday evening, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the collision took place in the northbound lanes of the freeway, which are located south of University Parkway.

The California Highway Patrol reports that a 2018 Toyota Corolla was travelling in the direction of the north when it suddenly drifted into the shoulder and collided with the rear of a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia that was at a halt on the right shoulder.

According to the authorities, the impact of the collision prompted the Corolla to pass all lanes to the left and hit with a 2018 Acura MDX that was also travelling in the same direction, which was north. After the collision, the Toyota Corolla became disabled in the middle of the motorway, and it was subsequently struck by a Ram 3500 from the year 2024 that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The three women who were inside the Corolla were all pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. They were identified as Nicole Hester, Leann Hester, India Hester. According to reports, the drivers of the other vehicles had very minor injuries.
