Rita is survived by her two daughters, Misty Gail Spoonamore and Kristi Nicole Helena Spoonamore, both of Waynesburg; four sons, Kenneth Lee Kidd of Waynesburg, Gregory C. Kidd (Patty) of Waynesburg, Levi Dude Caudill of Stanford, and James Caudill of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Junior Caudill of Waynesburg and Randy Caudill of Eubank, Kentucky; five sisters, Bertie Jones, Bonnie Denny, and Melissa Caudill, all of Waynesburg, Vickie Kidd of Waynesburg, and Rhonda Denny of Somerset, Kentucky. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends who will dearly miss her.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her three brothers, Larry Caudill, Donald Caudill, and James Caudill.

A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home in Waynesburg. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with a livestream available on Rita’s memorial page on the funeral home’s website.
