Roberto Alfonso Rocca of Midland, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, he was 42 years old. Roberto was well-known not only for his passion of athletics but also for his cooking and energetic events he planned. His fervour went beyond the stands as an American Legion Post 481 member and Midland Sportsmen Club member. Having owned Rocca’s Hot Dog Shop, his culinary and hospitality skills for customers had a lasting impact on the neighbourhood.

Apart from his parents, Roberto’s memory will be treasured by his sisters, Gia Rocca, Renee Grommas (Mark), and Claudine Lambert (Dave), together with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Among his extended relatives are Ambrose and Terry Rocca, Ike and Barbra Rocca, Victor and Stacy Rocca, Orlando and Liz Pineda, Alfonso and Susan Pineda, Albert and Terry Pineda, David and Jane Pineda, and Josette and Frank Terrones, all of whom had major influence on his life.

Funeral Plans

From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., friends are invited to pay their respects at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 629 Midland Ave., Midland. Later on will be a private blessing service, then buried at Beaver Cemetery. All those who knew Roberto will treasure his attitude, humour, and enthusiasm of life.
