The death of Rodney “Noddy” White saddens the Ridgley Football Club greatly. As a former player, Rodney, a beloved Life Member, made major contributions to the club having participated in an outstanding 175 games for Ridgley. He was a well-liked person in the neighbourhood because of his constant allegiance to the squad.

Family Grieves The Loss

The club offers Jo, Mel, Jenna, and their families sincere sympathy at this trying period. All those who knew Rodney will feel his departure very strongly since he left behind a legacy of friendship and dedication that enhanced the life of many.

Funeral Service Information

Starting at 2 PM on Thursday, October 3rd, a funeral ceremony at the Romaine Park Christian Centre will honour Rodney’s life. Those who would want to offer their respects are invited to come. The hearts of Rodney’s family, friends, and fellow club members will carry on his memory as they recall the delight and enthusiasm he brought to the sport and the community.

“The Ridgley Football Club is Saddened to hear the passing of Rodney “Noddy” White.
A Life Member, former player, playing 175 games for Ridgley and a very loyal member of the Club.
We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Jo, Mel, Jenna and families.
He will be sadly missed.
The funeral service for Rodney will be held at the Romaine Park Christian Centre commencing at 2pm on Thursday the 3rd October for all who would like to attend.”
