Sandra Quinn Colvin, 75 years old, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1949, in Wauchula, Florida, to parents Randal and Betty Quinn. Sandra was the Exemption Supervisor at the Hardee County Property Appraiser’s Office and possessed credentials as a Florida Evaluator from the International Association of Assessing Officers and the Department of Revenue. She was an engaged participant in the Fort Meade Worship Centre.
Her parents and three brothers—Carson, Marty, and Malcolm Quinn—died before them. Surviving Sandra are her husband, Larry Colvin, of Fort Meade; her two sons, James Eric Quinn of Cebu, Philippines, and Matthew Mark McEntyre; and her stepson, Allen Thomas of Lakeland. She is survived by six grandchildren: Carson Justice Quinn of Paducah, Kentucky; Ashton Kriss Quinn, Kadence Denae Quinn, and Emersyn Haylee Quinn, all of Clewiston; Roslyn Leanna Bryant of Avon Park; and Aiden Thomas of Lakeland. Furthermore, she is survived by three sisters—Noveda Quinn, Laura Honc, and Barbara Quinn—along with several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Family and friends are welcome to convene on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, Florida. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Fort Meade Worship Centre, situated at 1 North Cleveland Avenue, Fort Meade, Florida. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at Fort Meade. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fort Meade Worship Centre in her remembrance.
