October 1, 2024 saw the sudden death of 48-year-old Scotty Bundy of Russellville. Deeply loving family, sports, and gaming, his life revolved on the love and happiness he enjoyed with his three children, Aiden, Greyson, and Xavier Bundy. Always a devoted Alabama football fan, there never was a missed game. Often playfully recalled as a “legend” on the sports pitch, he is a proud alumnus of Hackleburg High School.

Survived by Elizabeth Dawn, his darling wife, and his kids Greyson and Xavier Bundy, he leaves behind a family treasure every moment lived. Also grieving his death are his brother, Keith Bundy, and sister, Brandy Bundy. Along with many nieces and nephews who will remember Scotty fondly, the extended family consists in Valerie and Danny Tittle, David and Cindy Hall, Dana Hall, and Kaymon.

Along with his parents, Steven Bundy and Linda Hazelwood, and brother, Steven Bundy Jr., he was preceded in death by his son, Aiden Bundy. Though his life was suddenly cut short, his influence on those close to him is still felt today.

Friday, October 4, 2024 will see a viewing at Spry Memorial Chapel between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Through cremation, Scotty will be laid to rest respecting his wishes and preserving his memory in the hearts of people closest by. Reflecting Scotty’s love of helping causes near his heart, the family has asked donations to Children’s of Alabama in exchange of flowers.
